Beginning Quilting

Here is you chance to learn the very basics of quilting - the proper tools and how to use them.  How to accomplish a perfect 1/4" seam and the correct way to press your seams.  This class will teach you, or refresh you, on the basic skills you need to start any quilting project.   


Supply List:
Pattern - Cloud Nine from Villa Rosa Patterns
Supplies as listed on the pattern back.
Rotary Cutter - 45mm
Self Healing cutting mat - we do have mats if you would like to borrow one for the day!
8-1/2" x 24-1/2" acrylic ruler

You will also need -
Sewing Machine in good working order.  Please bring all of the feet for this machine.
1/4" piecing foot if you have one to fit your machine.
Thread - just a neutral color will do!
Basic sewing supplies - scissors, pins, seam ripper, etc.


**Bring a snack or brown bag a lunch if you would like!  We will take a short break around lunch time!



There is a minimum enrollment of 4 students to hold this class.

Cancellation Policy - To receive a refund for a class you have paid for, you must notify us 24 hours in advance of the first class session.  No refunds or transfers if you are a no-show to the class.  Please call us if you have any questions regarding this policy.
