Beginning Quilting #1- Basic Skills
Here is you chance to learn the very basics of quilting - the proper tools and how to use them. How to accomplish a perfect 1/4" seam and the correct way to press your seams. This technique class will teach you, or refresh you, on the basic skills you need to start a quilting project. We will work on a small table runner project.

If you have these tools please bring them. If not, you are welcome to use the shop tools for this class.
Rotary Cutter - 45mm
Self Healing cutting mat
8-1/2" x 24-1/2" acrylic ruler
You will also need -
Sewing Machine in good working order
1/4" piecing foot if you have one to fit your machine
Thread
Basic sewing supplies - scissors, pins, etc.
(3) Fat Quarters - (1) Main print, 2 coordinating prints
**Bring a snack or brown bag a lunch if you would like!
There is a minimum enrollment of 4 students to hold this class.
