Round Rosie Runner - Technique Class
This Round Rosie Runner Workshop is a great stash buster! This improv log cabin block has no paper-piecing or foundation piecing. No specialty rulers. Easy-peasy because there are no points to line up. If you can't stop at just a table runner, the pattern even includes instruction to make a whole quilt!
Supply List:
Pattern - Each student needs their own copy of Round Rosie Runner Pattern
Fabric - Scraps work well for this project. Just be sure you have several values for each color - dark, medium and light. The roses can all be one color, or each rose could be a different color. Have some greens for the leaves. The pattern has green for the backgrounds to give the illusion of a rose bush, but, the sample has a light color for the background to show off the roses more. Whatever you choose - you will need 1-1/2" to 2-1/2" (and any width in-between) wide strips of varying lengths. Don't have scraps? Gather 8-10 1/8yd cuts of colors.
Sewing Machine in good working order - not the one you never use, the one you are familiar with. :)
Basic Sewing Supplies - scissors, pins, seam ripper
Rotary Cutter, Mat and Ruler
