Quilted Sneakers Workshop

Let's have Happy Feet all year 'round!  Make a fun pair of hi-tops or classic sneakers from your favorite fabrics.  There is some pre-class homework to prepare for this workshop.  The class fee includes a kit that has your sneaker soles, padded insoles, sneaker pattern, waxed thread and needle, eyelets and shoe strings.

**IMPORTANT**
You must sign up for this class ASAP so that we can order your soles before class.  Cut off date is Friday, August 2nd for the August classes, Friday, August 23 for the September classes and September 26th for the October Class.  Please let us know your shoe size and if you would prefer white or black soles.  ******

**If you already have soles and inserts, (meaning I don't have to order them for you) and wish to take the class on a date that is closed, you can sign up after that cut-off date and pay $85 for the class.  Call to sign up and let us know that you don't need the sneaker kit.  -Ann (989) 832-5722

Quilting Instructions -
For the upper part of your shoes you will need a Fat Quarter. For the lining you will need a Fat Quarter.  You will also need a 5/8 yard of SF101 stabilizer and 1/2 yard of By Annie's Soft and Stable.
Press the SF101 to the back of your upper shoe fabric.
Quilt the upper fabric (that has the SF101 on the back) to the lining fabric with Soft and Stable from By Annie's in between.  Batting will make for a wimpy shoe!  Please use the By Annie's Soft and Stable.
For a different tongue than the upper shoe, quilt up at least a 10" square of fun fabric, lining, SF101 and Soft and Stable.
